so many things
i had wanted to post the not-so-many pics of the previous iftar but i wanted to let the fume out of my head. and here's the avenue.
Before breakfast earlier, my mom asked me to buy some shallots and a tin of cornflour from the neighbourhood shop. So, after fetching Atin from skul and because the Chinese shop I normally patronized was closed, I went to the Indian one. I dreaded going there, given the situation of the shop that is so ramshacked and the stench that welcomed customers. eww. but mak had to cook, so I had to go.
I tell you, it was eons(!) since i visited that shop and NOTHING has changed. No wonder they opened up the new chinese shop. Anyway, after searching and holding my breath at the same time, i found the tin. so me and atin quickly made our way to the cashier.
You know, I thought, the shopowner had contracted some kind of stroke or sth cuz he seemed to be having much difficulty taking the tin. I kinda pitied him. but actually, no lehh! he was actually taking his own sweet time. wat can actually be done in a nanosecond, he took an hour. gah! he took a good look at the tin, scrutinizing the price tag. $2 i saw. every other tins was $2 also. wat made me fume was the fact that he peeled the tag off and dared say to me that the actual price was $4.20!!! halamak! tepung mana harga empat dollar siak! wah wah wah! he really made my blood rush up. but i only managed to let a deep deep sigh, took the money and walked off. Verily, I was fasting.
I remembered last time, in an act of desperation, bought an ironing starch at the cost of $5.20 when i could have gotten it at $2.50. now, I could have sworn never to step into that shop again.
on a lighter note,
me and bedah went for our XRD training with our eyelids weighing a ton. gosh that was horrible. i practically nodded my way thru the demonstration while forcing these eyes to open. ngantok ahh! ni sumer OC punye pasal!
Ms Dew asked me to interpret her dreams, which I cant. I'm not versed in interpreting dreams la walao. haha. I only know how to translate my own to my life. heh. nontheless, i will still share with u the dreams that have somewhat made me believe in them.
