Dianah & Adil

I got to know Dianah during my first year of NTU, Muslim Society, to be precise and saw how meticulous she was with the preparation of IAP's opening ceremony. Kecoh (in confirming venue what with all the cross emails!), but organised and neat altogether. The same applied to her wedding, no less.

Adil, on the other hand, was my team leader for fringe department in the very same IAP project. He was the most soft spoken guy I've ever seen/heard, suave also! and he, was of course, the hearthrob of many.

Their wedding was definitely an affair to remember, just like the saying goes, "bagai pinang dibelah dua", both equally good looking and smart.

This being my first wedding of the year, I think I felt overwhelmed with the magnitude of the affair, what with lilac decor and dais, and how all Dianah's cousins and family members were donned in lilac. suweet. Even more saccharinely sweet was when Dianah's father gave his speech and led everyone to recite some prayers for the newlyweds. *touched* (ToT)

The ambience was calm and cool, because of the air-con and I simply loved the fact there was no DJ blaring loud music, just a really good playlist Dianah was spot-on with! love! Food was glorious, especially when served by polite and smart attired caterers. How fun! Everyone in the family sits shake legs, no need to rewang or wash the dishes like typical weddings. Speaking of that, I wonder where that area for dish-washing was! hehe.

In short, everything was so...proper! even to the calls for photography session. Each family was announced one by one to take turns for a pic with the couple. We couldn't wait too long so we had to cut the queue and went up the stage. ok, not me. i very segan because there were so many ppl! so i just waved from downstairs. heh.

Well Dianah, your wedding was an inspirational one. lavish in its simplicity. Your preparations, toil and sweat paid off. I enjoyed myself very much. It was inevitably, a notch above the rest! Have a great honeymoon! Europe, I hear?
