before august comes to close

so, digress a bit. I wanted to blog abt that Hindi movie I watched for the first time in the cinema... Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna

simply put. immoral.

I thought Indian culture has high regards for marriage, but never did i expect to see marriages break, not just one, but two, all in the name of love. To me, yes, love may be an important factor towards marriage. Tell me would you marry someone and after having a child, found another partner you claimed your soulmate and then decide to leave your family?

not right.

and besides, shame, SHAME on SRK! or Karan Johar or Yash Johar or whoever la the director ke producer ke. Sex scenes in Hindi movies??? aper sehh. oh, that's not all, SRK bearing the cross on his jackets...wualah...

dah lah.

Nevertheless, there were of course, tear-jerking moments. without fail. I wouldn't recommend you to watch it cuz it left me feeling sore despite being thrown into fits of laughter. So, still reigning number one in the list of Hindi movies, would be?

Oh by the way, Miss Pseudochic, yea I spent the whole Sunday baking cupcakes AND fruit tarts. testing testing like that. actually I think I'm quite good la considering that I made them according to the recipes and no guidelines whatsoever. BUT hor, to be in the watchful eye of a perfectionist mother was tough sehh! All tarts must be same shape, same thickness. Fillings must be same level. Don't overbake. Must be golden brown. The cupcakes are too sweet. With frosting, lagi sweet potong kaki. The fruits on top must be standardised.

I wanted to sulk but looking at my sister's face turning as red as strawberry I laughed. HAHA!Ehh! Aper tak eh...My NCC pun kalah la! Luckily she never asked us to glaze the fruit tarts until you can see the reflection of your teeth! gah! heh...

No pics as yet, gotta wait until I get the whole thing done come Sunday for my cousin's engagement. penuh semangat, i dono why.
