have u found ur fence?
kak arni got married yesterday. she locked her pagar oredi. dats what we girls always talk abt last time. saper dah jumpa pagar. we, the al-widad girls... the girls who organise camps in darussalam, having bbq under e stars, spooky nite walks, the captain ball stint and e crap talks. and now she's married. e sister i once feared for her garangness but actuali, reali nice.
she was e one who came up with e analogy of guys as a gate/fences. e one who makes u feel secure. sometimes, i wonder if i haf found my fence, e right one...perhaps i did, and den i uprooted them, or they were destroyed by nature. den i planted those fences again and i painted them rainbow colours. and as i walk by, i saw others' fences. some made of steel some gold-plated. some, are even protected with wired barbs. some, left their homes unprotected. but one thing for sure, many have them locked already. it's e season i guess...season to keep ur home safe.
but i've left my fence for so long oredi...i'm not sure if i still need them. wouldn't it be selfish of me? to completely destroy them after abandoning for so long. i love the colours i painted on them or perhaps they have faded. i love my fence, i reali do. it's my artwork. and like an artwork, it takes time to acquire its value. as much as ive been thinking to throw my fence away, i think, i will continue painting and re-painting. i will add more colours and texture. until one day...u walk by to see, my priceless fence, LOCKED!
